Hello, friends list. I'm not very used to this blog business, seeing as I'm usually just a bit preoccupied with alternately saving the world or trying to buy it, but for you, I'll make the attempt. Tsuki is currently wrapped up arguing with Steve, poor thing. He developed a sub-plot, you see, and it's giving her a conniption. She thinks he's being unreasonable. If she'd talked things over with me, she would have known that he's just being Steve, but we live and learn. Well, most of us do, at any rate. Occasionally, even in that order.

Just between you and I, she's exaggerating about our discussion yesterday. I don't pout. I'm really more the type for a sultry sort of sulk, don't you think?

Now, here's the trouble. She's just finished an entire scene starring none other than Captain America at his patriotic, leather-clad finest. While I certainly don't object to the sight, apparently, the next scene she plans is the one just prior to my untimely demise. We have precisely two hundred and eighty-six words of myself and the very scrumptious Steve Rogers in bed and nothing has happened yet, nor will, according to the notes I've purloined. Worse, she slipped off to write about something that I'm sure is very dramatic and necessary to the plot, but pointlessly without nudity of any sort. Personally, I think this is a crime. If she's going force me to shuffle the mortal coil, I must beg that I be allowed one last romp before my time is due.

So, dear ladies and gentlemen, I have a request of you. Would you all be loves and convince her to grant my last request? It would be worth your while, if only for the inevitable excerpts that will be posted. It would mean ever so much to me.

Post Script: Tsuki would like me to pass on that a proper post will no doubt be coming later in the day, after she's finished discussing matters with Steve.

True, true.

What about modern day ones though? Like, the idea that some simply do actually need something extra, but that doesn't mean if they don't get it they die. Or psy/psi vampires. What about those?

I definitely believe in psychic vampires. I could swear my dad is one. Other than that, I don't know enough about the "modern" vampire thing to really make a call. I don't like putting myself into a position where I might end up telling someone, 'I don't believe in you'. It doesn't get much more rude than that.

My father. He's one of those people where you walk in the room feeling great, and walk out an hour later feeling like you've been run over by a mack truck. Hard to argue with evidence like that.

....Yeah, true. *Sighs* I believe in both types, but I believe sanguine vampires ("bloodsuckers") simply crave/desire/want it, not necessarily need it to survive.

Well, alcoholics only crave/desire/want, but when you take it away, it can kill some of them.
