Digital Eclipse

Today, I dropped two dogs off at the vet: one for a spay (Zoey) and one for a neuter (Teddy). I can only hope that this is the beginning of a trend. Zoey was called adorable—and she is—because she was clinging to my arm like a koala. Teddy growled at the nurse.;; He's very uncertain about strangers. I just hope he doesn't bite anyone. D: I'd never be able to apologize enough.

In fannish news... (shakes fist of impotent rage) Someone tell Prompt!Tony and Prompt!Steve to get with the nekkidness and sexytimes already! It's a 1000 word minimum, so why did I hit 1000 words and they're still talking? Too naked for work, not naked enough to roll with the sexings. *sigh* And also, um... >.> I may have been bitten by another plot bunny that was supposed to be a PWP... It may be long-ish now.; I blame Lint.

But today! Today is for editing of the NaNo! Really! I promise. (crosses heart) It's big, so it won't be edited 100% today, obviously, but it's getting worked on. Prompt takes priority.

Finally, I meant to post this forever ago, but I ended up distracted. This happens often. My mother e-mailed me this; she got it from an uncle. This is a picture of Nana and Papa, estimated at early 1945 (going by the sergeant's stripes). I can definitely see which genes won out here. Also, Nana was hot. Going to Hell.

My mom shipped me a few pics from after my brother got out of jail! I don't normally post photos, but I want to get these up here. I'm not a big photographer. I always bring my camera and then maybe snap a picture or two, if I remember at all. Whoopsies?

Also, damn me for having a brother named Steven, who goes by Steve. ._.; I have to clarify when I speak to my mother now. "Oh, and Steve has a kitten!" "HE WHAT?" "Oh. Um. Not that Steve. Captain America Steve... Maybe it's better if I just shut up now." [/example]

In more fannish news, I am quickly falling in love with Tony Stark. Also whoops, lol. He just inspires an urge to wrap him in comfy blankets and hugs, doesn't he? He suffers so beautifully. And I have no real urge to get into the comics themselves, other than the occasional puzzling in-joke. This may be because the fanfic is just that awesome. I so need to get around to commenting on those, once I think I can say something better than "flail". :p I think I'll stick with that, thank you very muchly. (Though I do wish that I knew the timeline well enough to write a fic or two. I have a huge need for genderswap!Tony/Steve and something involving people thinking Iron Man is Tony's lover. Possibly also Steve pouting over this, or being upset because he likes them both and that's just not fair. Alas.)
