(scowl) Anyways, Thrusday night was my Fiction class, and one of our scene exercises came out interesting, so it's posted below.

Summary: The heroine is always captured by a ruthless band of blood-thirsty pirates, and threatened with ravishment. Now wwitch the genders. Complete ficlet.
Lyrial sat down in his corner of the room feeling the boat roll under him. The pirate leaned against the doorway, face tanned and weathered, thin mouse-brown hair pulled back into a knot. A bowl of some kind of stew was in her hands. He shifted. The chains clinked.
"Why you not eat?" she demaned, glaring out from distubringly golden eyes. "You not sick, not bespelled, not hurt. No reason not eat."
"I want to get out of here."
"You prisoner. Can't let you out. Cap'n says." She shifted her weight, leaning against the door harder, then shifting away again. "Cap'n not like."
He tried to sound reasonable. "Please. I'm one man against at least a dozen wom—" He paused as her expression tightened. "Pirates. What harm can I do?"
"Cap'n says no."
"My legs hurt. I haven't seen sunlught in days." Lyrial let his voice drop to a whisper. "Please? Just for a bit?"
She hesitated, then shook her head. "Sorry, but no." The bowl was clutched tight to her. "Am sorry. You keep not eatting, we ravish you. Then you eat." She left before he could argue, taking the food with her.
