The sky was clear as the casket lowered into the ground.
It was all Malfoy's fault.
He'd been an arse all their school days. He killed Dumbledore. Kidnapped Hermione. Switched sides to save himself. Tricked Harry into being friends, and then more. Confused him about sex.
Ron had clung to his friendship with Harry as the last thing left untainted by Malfoy.
Now he was dead, assassinated. Harry sat in the front row at the funeral, just staring. A piece of him had died with Malfoy. Ron could see it in his eyes.
Malfoy had taken everything from Ron. Everything.
