My hours were cut. (twitch) Until the 27th, the lab closes at 6PM now. It starts today, and I was informed today, so I'm just a bit pissy about it. Since I work the closing shift... (sigh) The way we're working it out is that every other day, the guy before me and I will take over each others shifts. (I think this means I don't have work tomorrow. Gods, I hope. I need the sleep badly.) The major downside of this is that I'm going from having 23 hours a week to 10-15. 25 hours for two weeks, instead of the 46 I was expecting. How fucked is that? Jedd (the guy who's switching with me) already works about 17, so it's not as big of a cut for him, but I'm not really going to argue for equal paycheck loss. It wouldn't be fair to him. So it's a major cut, but thank goodness that it's only for two weeks or so. (At least, that's what I was told, but I was also told that there wouldn't be cut-backs on our hours between semesters.) Hopefully this means that I can get online earlier and go to bed a little earlier. Or at least sleep in every other day. I don't know. I just know Mary will figure out some way to make me miserable over it, and with the Wicked Witch of the Northeast on her way, I'm probably going to end up fake working, just to avoid her. x.x Problems on problems.
