Holiday cleaning

Arrrrgh paaaain. :(
Happy Yule, y'all. I am currently on holiday break, as I work at a Community College, and therefore we do essentially nothing between mid-December and the start of January. So if you do not see me online when I usually am, that's why.
I spent Sunday cleaning an RV, when I wasn't on its roof. @_@ See, She Who Is Called Dragon (my Aunt Emma) finally said she's going to come visit, which means we have to house her, her two grandsons, her daughter and (very likely) two of her other grandsons. Plus 11 dogs. Yeah. Any time Emma comes over it's stressful and a pain, as she hates me and is always very quick to harp on the condition of the house/pets/yard/etc. So I tend to go into panic mode trying to do preemptive damage control. It never works.
For once, I've refused to give up my bedroom, and I've threatened Dire Consequences if anyone asks Papa to give up his. (Yes, my family is messed up enough that they will ask an elderly man to give up his own bedroom for their comfort.) So the solution was to bring the old RV up from where it was parked, give it a cleaning, and let some people sleep in it. Not ideal, but it's better than shuffling floorspace. The RV is a mess, because it wasn't put away properly. So I cleaned it, and crawled around on the roof to put a tarp on, as it is Leaky. Not fun, but I survived.
We also had some trees taken down. We have soft pine in our yard, and they were diseased. IDK what sort, but they were a hazard, so down they came. On the positive side, I now have plenty of fresh branches for decorating, and made my own wreath for the door. It is very pretty. :D
Today was spent cleaning. Cleeeeaning. I got the dining room and half of the living room done, plus a lot of things moved into storage. I'll have to finish up tomorrow. It won't be pretty, but it'll be clean. If Emma doesn't think it's good enough, she can kiss my ass. :| Luckily, she will not be able to leave until tomorrow evening at the earliest, and it is a two day drive. So I still have time to finish cleaning up and such. I have hopes of making bingo cookies and getting the tree up by Thursday. We shall see.
If things play out the way I expect them to, I may end up barricading myself in my room for a few weeks. Emma is always a huge, huge chore, and she thoroughly hates me. This year I hope to not accept her shit, though I know I am a push-over, and they all know they can get me to do damned near anything under the banner of "don't upset Papa". (sigh) Just in case, I have laid out food and water supplies. I still need to get my hands on a working TV (the cousin who "borrowed" mine is resisting my efforts to get it back), as well as some way of heating tea/soup. Yes, I will be the person responsible for "ruining Christmas", but the way I see it, it is either Ruin Christmas by being a cave-dwelling Scrooge or ruin it via a screaming match. Their choice.
