In order to keep myself distracted and (arguably) sane, I've spent a lot of my downtime (translation: internet-less hospital time) working on the coding for my new layout. BEHOLD. Please forgive me if it is not quite all finished yet. I've had about five hours of sleep over the last several days, and my brain is not functioning well enough for me to figure out what to do/how to do it with teeny!Hank or Beast.

Speaking of Papa, he has been okay'd for surgery! \o/ That's going to be happening sometime today (which means no visit :( ). More on that when there is more information. He was doing pretty well yesterday, for a man in traction. Slept a lot, and was still pretty nauseas, but not bad overall.

Finally, thank you to whoever left me a flaming bag of shit on my profile. :D It made me laugh this morning, and I needed that. And a real thank you to everyone who's been giving me support. (cuddles the flist) You people are awesome. ♥♥♥♥♥ Especially cursor_mundi, who went through the trouble of making a huuuuuuuuge scan of the Hypervelocity cover. I will be able to cut out teeny!Hank! HUZZAH!

Non-work at work, at least where we work, is pretty standard. I mean, we get a lot done, too, but... yeah. And yay for teeny!Hank!

Pretty much the same here. We're mostly support personnel. When things are slow, there's nothing to do but goof off and remain available. Teeny!Hank is surprisingly adorable. I miss when Hank was cool and fun and not crazycakes.

LOL, I was on my break when I scanned it, so mine is the Path of Virtue! Though I completely agree, best use of the office scanner to date. Some of the stuff that poor thing has to take, urgh.

Yay to hear that the surgery has been approved! And you know, for the amount of sleep you've had, with the stress you've been under...this layout is pretty damn shiny.

It is the path of virtue, but it leads to the garden of despair. First you're only misusing equipment. Before you know it, you'll be leaving rude posty notes on the office coffee pot, not chipping in for the whip-around come someone's birthday, and taking fifteen extra minutes for lunch. REPENT, before it's too late!

Surgery was approved and is done! \o/ He got through it with flying colors, and they didn't even need to replace the hip. HUZZAH! And thank you for the layout compliment. ♥

2. Yay for surgery! I am going to keep my hopes high for everything. I know when my dad had his surgery, it was pretty scary and nerve-wracking. *hugs*

1) I like them darker, TBH. but dark wouldn't work very well with this header, I think. Anyway, I just did dark for years at a time. :o Time to change up!

2) (hugs) Papa came through well! I get to visit today, and will have a report on his condition after I witness it for myself. But everyone says he did wonderfully, and there's high hopes for a good recovery.

3) I SLEPT LAST NIGHT. Sort of. Five hours counts as sleep!

oh wow i hope all goes well you have my full sympathy my grandfather is an old gymnast and when i was a kid he would still do backflips on the lawn with the kids (at the age of 70 thats pretty awesome) and then a couple of years ago he had a heart attack i didn't even realise he'd gotten old.
