Updates, memes and vets, ohmy!
Mar. 9th, 2010 04:03 pmBuzzing by with a small (big) meme and a fly-by update, in order to avoid doing things I really should be doing. (Including pimping WinCon, writing, cleaning house again...) Zena had her vet visit. The lump on her haunch seems fine, but they found a stone! Either in her bladder or kidney or possibly rib cage, the doctor wasn't very clear. But regardless of where it is, I get to plop down a not-so-small fortune tomorrow to have it surgically removed. Joy of joys, right? I'm going to have them remove the growth on her butt while they've got her under. Will be reporting tomorrow.
In gaming, I am working on getting Souls of Thamasa in Final Fantasy XII. (shakes a fist) I'm so close to being done, I can taste it, but these Souls are not coming easily.

au_bigbang. If anyone wants to beta, I will be tail-wagging and happy? Solid knowledge of 1610 would be nice. But the next project up for writes is comicsbigbang. I'm at 7k and... um. I may have lost the plot. Just a lot. (facepalm) It's Norman Osborn's fault, as most things are. We'll work on this.
Reading, I am catching up with comics and reading Black Magic Sanction by Kim Harrison. So far, so good, but my focus has been scattered. Mainlining is hard when every chapter is read with the nagging sensation that I should be writing instead.
Yesterday, I cleared out my closet and resolutely discarded all of the clothes I've been not wearing. I have space again! And really, I don't need to replace anything, since all the things that are gone technically weren't being used anyway. I also found things that I thought long gone, such as my other Captain America wristband! So that was shiny.
In work, I have none this week. It feels good.
