Avoiding work again. Well, I'm supposed to be making tutorial handouts of frequent issues as busy work. Guh. Pain. And the only things I can think of that students have repeated issues with are things like "Downloading a File" and "E-mailing Your Teacher". Not things I want to actually sit down and think out the steps to. (Seriously - most of the issues are so simple that it's hard for me to remember how they're done!)

Looking back over the last few entries, I'm kind of starting to wonder if work is dragging me away from Fandom. o.o My recent posts have been more politics (LJ and RL) and memes than my usual randomness. Or family complaints, though those still happen. I haven't even written a fic lately. Well, I haven't posted a fic lately, mostly because I reached a new low in my writing and am not really sure I want to attach my name to it. (sweatdrop) And I don't mean low as in style or grammar. It's all content. Scary content. o.o; And yaoi has been non-existent, possibly because most of my posting is from work, and while no one's looking over my shoulder I'm kind of hesitant to accidentally hit something NSFW at the exact wrong moment.

Am I growing up?

Yes, but the sounds are actually a very delicate difference, one that makes a mew so different from a meow. I can sound like either one; i'm very good with imitating sounds. It's a skill very few actually know about. Edgar was rather quick in finding that out; the first time he ever heard me do it is the day he actually started paying attention to me and not ignoring me totally. XD Like everyone else basically did, more or less. Except, of course, for some of the kids; all save one of which are guys. *Laughs* It's a funny class.

Devon (female, not male) talks to me because I have a decent sense of humor, am smart enough to stop talking and just do my work, and am the only girl besides her on that side of the room, practically; or at least in that area.
Justin talks to me because I'm smart, am a lot like him, and, he tells me, I am good to talk to (don't interrupt him and stuff, lol). I talk to him only sometimes (otherwise I simply listen), because he reminds me of Greg. Strongly. Very freakishly strongly. XD
Chris talks to me because I'm funny at the most random moments, completely deadpan, smart, and can BE funny WITHOUT being a total idiot.
Joel talks to me because he's noticed that although I'm an extremely quiet person who keeps to herself, whenever I do actually do the work I get 100% on it quite easily, with barely any thought (aka, very smart), he's noticed I'm good with humors not often used nowadays (dry and deadpan are my speciality), and he respects my opinion. (He tells me he's noticed that I'm, like, a genius--precisely his words, if you change I'm with You're. He's the kind of guy who most girls go ape over. It's funny.)
Edgar talks to me easily the most out of all of them; he does so because I'm really into a lot of the things he is, and therefor fun to talk with; he also talks to me because I'm really good with voices, which he discovered, and because I'm smart and don't act stupid just to hide my intelligence (which a surprising amount of people do here...*Frowns*). His favorite saying regarding me when people comment is, "I respect Senpai."

Their opinions of me are all basically the same, as you can see. But when one of the most sought-after guys of my year enjoys talking to a nobody like me, the results are interesting. *Snickers* (sought-after guy being Joel, lol.)

He isn't a fanboy. *Grins* But he is funny. Regarding yaoi....well. He reads Gravitation, if that works for you. XD
