I got into the habit of updating. HTF did that happen!? D: People... seeing words... my words...

I think I'm having an existential crisis. All of the name changing and bouquets and stuff going around does not help. I could go into that (and considered it) since it's been bugging me lately, but I talked it out with my mom and will therefore spare everyone the "I don't get it" philosophical treatise on the nature of family, surnames and marriage. (Other than a quick blurb that the idea of changing my name actually makes me feel a bit nauseas for many complicated reasons and I'm still trying to figure that out. o.O So if I am weird about that stuff right now, please to be forgiving me because the inside of my head is turning out to be stranger than I thought it was.)
I will, however, say that it is bloody creepy that so many people I know are tying the knot or have tied it recently. I have: 1 coworker, 1 brother, 1 set of grandparents and 3 people on my friendslist in the matrimonial way, two of them seemingly in a week of each other.
I swear, if my parents have a second ceremony, I'm making myself a marriage-proof bunker.
