(FST) We Are

As I'm sure everyone's heard, Fandom was just handed a glorious victory in the matter of the New LJ Policies, and another astounding win in the Advisory Board Election. Of course, wank is ensuing (doesn't it ever stop?), but as I'm personally tickled pink, purple and blue over this, it kicked me into high gear.
I started this project last year, during Strikethrough. At the time, I was using a lot of mood music to keep me going, things that reminded me of why I love fandom and LJ so much and why it was so important to keep pushing 6Apart until the accounts were restored. With each progressive explosion, my playlist got longer and longer. With yesterday's announcements, I finally sat down and finished cherry-picking it. And right now I'm mooching Burger King's highspeed to put it up while the joy is still fresh.
This project doesn't have two booklets and a jacket. It's not really as "finished" as XIII Ways was. There's no theme or flow. But LJ is finally, finally showing signs of understanding where we're coming from, as members and creators. They were clear and concise in their post, with no hidden catches, and with a policy that I really think we can all agree on for the most part. I suppose I shouldn't call this a Fandom victory. It's an LJ victory.
So with that in mind...
As always, if you enjoy the music, please support the bands by picking up a CD!

LYRICS
Generation by Simple Plan
I'm sick of all this waiting
And people telling me what I should be
What if I'm not so crazy
Maybe you're the one who's wrong, not me
Elven Path by Nightwish
It's the honesty of these worlds
Ruled by magic and mighty swords
That makes my soul long for the past
Elvenpath
Do What You Do by Pink
Whatever it is that you do
You should do, you should do with your head held high
So when you're doing you're thing it's cause you wanna
And they never can ask you why
We Built This City by Starship
Someone's always playing corporation games
Who cares they're always changing corporation names
We just want to dance here, someone stole the stage
They call us irresponsible, write us off the page
Playing With the Boys by Kenny Loggins
Playin, playin with the boys
Stayin, playin with the boys
After chasin sunsets
One of life's simple joys
Is playin with the boys
No One's Gonnna Break Me Down by Wynonna Judd
Got my back against the wall
Cities rise, cities fall
Reckless ride, wild abandon
I'll be the one left standin'
Have a Nice Day by Bon Jovi
Shining like a diamond, rolling with the dice
Standing on the ledge, show the wind how to fly
When the world gets in my face
I say, Have A Nice Day
Affirmation by Savage Garden
I believe you can't control or choose your sexuality
I believe that trust is more important than monogamy
I believe you’re most attractive features are your heart and soul.
I believe that family is worth more than money or gold
Ordinary by Saving Jane
If you would get to know me
Maybe you would love me
I'm so ordinary
And if you would let me know you
Maybe I would show you
Wouldn't we be something?
All About Us by T.A.T.U.
They don't know
They can't see
Who we are
Fear is the enemy
One-X by Three Days Grace
We are the ones, we get knocked down,
We get back up (We stand above the crowd)
We are one...
Magic Carpet Ride by Steppenwolf
I like to dream yes, yes, right between my sound machine
On a cloud of sound I drift in the night
Any place it goes is right
Goes far, flies near, to the stars away from here
Thick Skin by Joydrop
'Cause the sky never falls
And the world never ends
And for all the things that I can't control
I have thick skin
Revolution by the Veronicas
I am tempermental
Like a heart without a home
I am sentimental
But you don't know me at all
Still by Alanis Morissette
I am your joy and your regret
I am your fury and your elation
I am your yearning and your sweat
I am your faithless and your religion
