Steve's wrecking ways have endangered everyone. :( Thor is only feeding a friend with his all organic, renewable resource called blood.
(bites fist and bounces up and down) SPOILERS. HERE BE SPOILERS. DO NOT LOOK IF YOU DO NOT WANT TO KNOW.
Tony is showing signs of vampire vitamin deficiency, which did not add originally up with my plans for vampiric nutritional needs (though bagged blood not being as good for him as fresh was a long time plan). Other characters have observed Tony has been a little colder than usual, his skin is a little stiff, and he has new wrinkles. It confused me, until your comment reminded me that the SSS was partly created using the vampire virus as sort of a freezing method. Doc Erskine got Steve to physical perfection with other methods, and then modified and weakened the V. Virus and killed/revived Steve (stopped his heart for short time) in order to keep him there indefinitely. Which is, incidentally, the reason why Steve is sick—the two viruses interact in odd ways. But what it means is that Steve's blood contains the virus, so every time Tony munches on him, he gets hit with a small dose of essentially what is making Steve ill, and it takes more energy to clear up than the rest of Steve's blood supplies. It is as if he's drinking a glass of salt water. Add that to the lowered value in bagged blood, and six months later we have Tony exhibiting signs of undead malnutrition.
I do not think that they will realize this, so it's probably only going to get worse. Wanda and Thor have pointed out that Tony needs fresh food as a supplement, so that will help, but it's not a resolution.
