Once again, tomorrow it is November.
NaNoWriMo is coming.
(gulp)
I've done terribly when it comes to editing/posting my last two NaNos. (I know, I know D: I'm a horrible editor.) This year, I'm going to buckle down and finish that damnable Ults monster I've been poking for freaking ever. IDK if I'll post excerpts this year..? I usually do, because Hello, Public Shame! It works! But starting towards the end of the fic, that seems a bit odd to post excerpts and updates for. Hm. Either way, I figure I can grind out the rest in however many days and still have time to get something done for![[community profile]](https://www.dreamwidth.org/img/silk/identity/community.png)
apocalypsebang. (Author signups don't end until rough drafts are due, which is 12/12/12! Hint hint.) Then, the annual cap_ironman winter exchange! And then and then and then...
I feel like I should post a list of Fics I Need To Write and The Order I Am Supposedly Writing Them In. Just so people can hold my nose to the grindstone. :( But so many shiny ideas!
All of this shall be followed by flailing dramatically at the winter break because my mother is coming to visit (without my father, whew) and Shit Shall Get Done. I finally have permission to "treat the house as my own" (translation: "we're not coming back any time soon"), which means renting a truck and getting to work. With my mom there, I might even be able to get the guest bedrooms back in order! Fencing repaired &/or installed! A shed put up for hay! Get the heater fixed, or at least evaluated and told "lol buy a new one". Hell, at this point I will settle for "throw away trash that various people refuse to admit is trash". "We can fix it one day" is no excuse.
Finally, a quick Halloween fic! It's Ults, set (very roughly) in current canon. Which means yes, Steve is currently PotUS. You can find it here: President CapWolf.
