May. 19th, 2010 03:01 pmThere is a Free Download of Valve's Portal available until May 24. It takes 5GB of space (ohgods). I am downloading it down on my laptop (praise be to my work for the highspeed connection) and shall report on it soonish.
For those who may be wondering what Portal Is, I give unto you the following:
VG Cat's Music Video For Portal
A flash version of Portal
My explanation: It is a first person shooter puzzle game. Yes. You heard that right. Long story short, "you" can shoot two portals that lead to each other. Your job is to get through a ridiculous amount of deadly obstacles. And there is plot. No, really, I mean it! Plot in an FPS!
I'll just leave this link right here again, in case anyone wants to click it. You know. Out of curiosity. Or on accident. It's so easy to accidentally download and become absorbed in a game. Just like tripping and eating a whole pint of Ben & Jerry's Coffee Coffee BuzzBuzzBuzz ice cream.
Oh, and did I mention there is delicious cake?
