Wednesday argh
Aug. 26th, 2009 03:53 pmWork has sucked the life out of me. No, really. I went to bed at midnight last night. It should tell you all something significant that I was that tired. sherriaisling has been feeding me Deadpool and Cable, which is at least keeping my brain sort of functioning. Sort of. I've also finally read Execute Program. Something is niggling at me about it, but I can't quite put my finger on what it is. I think it's something about how everyone just sort of shrugged and went "Tony's crazy, moving on" without even questioning this assumption. No one stepped up to say "wait wait wait—what if it's more complicated than it seems" and that just makes me sad. :( Does no one ever give Tony the benefit of the doubt? Even Cap didn't! No wonder current canon is the way it is.
Speaking of Cap, he should not be allowed to pick his own undercover identities. First, a little old lady and now "Roger Stevens"? Um, no. Just no. Put down the corset and back away from the door, Steve.
I haven't written anything significant in a few days though. One rambling thing where head!Pepper chews out head!Steve and something for a WiP that I'm pretty sure is going to be snipped. Hopefully I'll be able to do something more later.
I still need a name for MJ's dragon. ._. Or a word to acronym, even. Yeesh. (pats the poor unnamed gold) She's kind of cute. Excitable and a little prone to short fuses, but I don't think anyone is going to beat Maria Hill's dragon for sheer ADHD flailing capacity.
