wheeee Monday *fail*

This weekend, cheesecake was baked. Lots of cheesecake was baked. D: Three of them—one for home, one for cousin's girlfriend's birthday and one for work. How do I get suckered into these things? I mean, a couple of slices of that baby is probably more than my whole daily caloric intake. On the other hand, I got to play with the recipe—apparently the sourcream is what makes the fluffeh. Who knew? So yays, fun? /dork

My car is leaking water. o.O On one hand, no worries, because I can keep the water levels topped off easily enough. On the other hand... Leaking anything = bad. (headdesk) So we'll see. It's probably a gasket—I know I have one that needs replacing, and I've just been putting it off for lack of funds. :\

In more fandom-y news... I'm getting ridiculously attached to Marroth. IDK why. (blink) Maybe because she's a scheming, conniving not-so-little character. Seriously. (pats her) Between her and Steve, Tony will not lack for mother-henning. Or, er, mother-wherrying? Chickens are pretty rare... IDK. Anyway. Clutchy brooding. That'll do. Anyways, she's fun to write. (handwaves) Hopefully one fic will get her out of my system. Other than that, I have been very much ._. lately. Thank goodness for muccamukk's Heart of Steel or this morning would be even more ._. than it already is.
