Status Updated!

ETA: The puppy didn't make it. Mary called to say that he'd stopped breathing just a bit ago. She thinks maybe he was breathing in the milk? But that doesn't make sense to me, because he was doing fine yesterday. IDK.

Puppy!Cap: Lives! Is squirmy and very vocal. Seems much improved.
The Crystal: Not so much on the living thing.

lol I managed to get in a couple of naps last night, but had my alarm set to go off every hour, Cap kept me from sleeping mostly. I'm starting to worry that I'm filling out my own bingo card here. D:

We're suspecting that he is the devil-progeny of our half-Pom half-Shih Tsu little monster because of his coloring, but he's still tiny enough that we can't tell any other way. If he ends up looking 100% Shih Tsu and doesn't fade to brown or red, we have no clue. There's five potential fathers, though one of them is disabled and probably couldn't have managed it unaided. I include him in the count because Zena is a resourceful bitch who has been known to stand on couches to tempt larger dogs. @.@

In weirder news, I have managed to hold my place on the geek heirarchy.

Also, I have a Super Beta. :D ♥♥♥♥ Okay, so it seems like 90% of the fandom world thinks this is a bad thing. I CARE NOT.
