(cracks knuckles) Today I shall post... Um. UM. ¬¬;; (thinks)
...
Okay, so it's been a long, slow, horrible week in a lot of ways. I'm still blah, though the mess that was the weekend helped, if only because messes of the magnitude force me to be something other than "meh". I'm sure coffee will resolve all my problems this Monday morning. (works on that) Writing is oozing along once more, which I regard as a good thing. I'm still catching up on backstory in my newest fandoms, so not having any bunnies nibble away at me means that there's no rush. I hate it when I end up Jossing my own fic, just because I didn't know a detail before I scribbled a story out. It makes me want to just... not write, which I know is ridiculously silly, but there we go.
On the plus side of catching up with back-canon, I get to lol endlessly at it. It's made of pure love. (pets it) I came thisclose to picking up Marvel Zombies, but the Hulk did me in. Zombie!Hulk is... kind of a massive game over, isn't he? YOU CANNOT DEFEAT ZOMBIE HULK.
So that got moved to after I finish with the Essential Iron Man and Ultimates. Besides, I don't want to read anything emotionally thick right now. I'm still recovering from last week's fic of note! (Which I still need to reply to, but I'm having a hard time getting around "this is so awesome and painful that I will never read it again after I've finished" and trying to explain why that is a good thing without becoming horribly tongue-tied.)
ETA: MARVEL SPOILERS. BRB Annoying co-workers with squee
