Travel plans
Sep. 4th, 2008 02:38 pmI'm going to WinCon! \o/ Huzzah! AND I'm going to be seeing ![[livejournal.com profile]](https://www.dreamwidth.org/img/external/lj-userinfo.gif)
clex_monkie89 for the first time in over three years, and shinineko1 for the first time in over a year. Even if I spend the convention bored out of my skull, that alone is more than worth any amount I have to shell out. I'm only a beginning Supernatural fangirl, but we'll see how it grows on me.
My travel plans are to leave from JAX on Thursday October 16 at 9:30 AM and arrive back in Florida on Monday October 20 at 6:30 PM. I'm looking at some pretty extensive driving to get from here to JAX, but the fare's $100 cheaper even after gas and parking. Hands-down choice, y/y? I'll be staying in a room with the above and (I think) 6 other people. Lucky me I have no issues with puppy piles, and even prefer them when available. (For the record, bothclex_monkie89 and shinineko1 are extremely comfortable to sleep on.)
In the meantime, I'm scrimping extensively. Even though I've saved some money there, it's still going to be a lot more fun if I have more than my previously-planned expense fund. All in all, even if I don't manage to save a dime over my planned savings, I'll still be well-set. :D
My cell phone and laptop will be traveling with me, but I really have no idea what kind of access I'll have to the internet. :\ Anyone who wants me to shoot them an "I'm safe!" text or call, let me know. ^_^ I'm going to try and be available online, but I admit that's pretty unlikely in a room with nine girls, two of which I intend to attach to like the emotionally needy leech I deny being.
