Thanksgiving, I suppose.

Today... Sucked? Bit? Really, for being hellish it wasn't bad. If I didn't have the entire world of family baggage running around with me, I would have called it a good day. As it is, just about everything hurt, since thsi was my first Thanksgiving away from my parents, and the only reason I'm away from them is because they pretty much just abandoned me. x.x (I'm not bitter. Really...) Got up early and got to make my first Thanksgiving dinner with a cousin (Bri). Since neither of us had any idea what to do, and we both had extremely different ideas of what to do and how to do it (they don't use apples on their turkey. Weird.), we kind of muddled through with several incredibly amusing moments. Turkey butt jokes reigned supreme. Dinner was painful. My aunt kept wanting to take pictures, and I really just wasn't in the mood for photographic evidence. (sigh) After that, cleaned up and got a call from Mom. After that little farce was done ("How is everyone? Did you have a good Thanksgiving? I miss you guys too, give everyone my love, no I don't want to talk to Daddy, buh-bye.") I had to take a time out for a little breakdown. Not fun. (sigh)
Neko and I are almost done winnowing through our huge backlog of RPs. We left so many unfinished, it was scary, but we're almost ready to work on the ones that take up most of our lives. (Since I've never mentioned our games in here, anyone besides Neko is going to be incredibly confused. Yay.) FB is... Well, that's our major one, but we haven't re-started it yet. Everything pretty much ties into it. o.o; So I'm looking forward to working on that one eventually. It's almost as old as our IY, and that one last us almost a year. Except FB still looks like it's going to manage way into the future. We still have a ton of plans for it. ^___^ Good times.
Right now I am sucking down a giant mug of mocha. Chocolate and coffee -- comfort foods. ^^ And I'm chatting with Neko. The day's looking up finally.
