Too sleepy to think of something witty

Argh. Still sleepy. (yawn) I managed to conk out for roughly twelve hours, and I could have still managed a nap. Luckily, next week shall be both slow and short, thanks to Thanksgiving. Everyone who can calls out "sick" or takes leave for Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday, and I'll have Thursday and Friday off.

Today was a bit weird. I slept in and ran around doing some shopping, but I also crammed for writing. As a result, I did not do laundry. Whoops. Ah, well. Tomorrow. Today ended up being a number of short scenes, instead of the longer ones I've been writing. That's kind of weird. IDK why they're coming out short, but it's just easier to get to the point? Exhaustion usually makes me more wordy.

I didn't quite manage my goal, but I came close enough. Word count is now 65,036, so I did 4,523. Not too shabby.

Panic was a cool, sharp taste in the back of her throat, but it came without the usual signs. Her heart and breath didn't speed, and her skin didn't flush. Pepper swallowed it down and smiled past the fear. "I—I woke very well. Thank you."

Ezrabet smiled. That physical reaction was still strong, making Pepper's stomach clench. She touched Pepper's shoulder, cool fingers slipping down her arm to take her hand. Silently, she lifted it to Pepper's neck. To her pulse. Nodding, Pepper closed her eyes and pressed two fingers to her neck.

Nothing.

"O—oh," she breathed. A lesbian threesome and becoming a vampire all in one night, she thought giddily. Tony's rubbing off on me.

XD Pepper set out to deliberately get Nommed and infected. It's complicated, but can possibly be summed up as "she is amazingly loyal, and Tony's genius does not always extend to planning". The lesbian threesome was an accident. She thought she was straight.

I hope it gets awesomer. The explosions have not even started. :D

I blame Tony. He subconsciously is trying to force people to keep him company for eternity.
