You know, Tony has a canonical fear of cockroaches (mice can be scared away when you're sleeping in an alley because Iron Man #173-180 happened to you. Cockroaches will crawl over you).

Maybe he can sympathize with Steve (or Peter) over their shared nasty-exoskeletoned-things fears.

I did not actually realize that! But it makes sense. You don't lose everything and find comfort in questionable hobo/box/you threesomes without something to show for it.

616Tony would definitely empathize. Phobias are hard! MA Tony might snicker, then empathize. Peter having arachnaphobia would be beautiful lols though. (I'm a bad person some days.)
