Baby's First Ink

Okay, I'm calm and fed and less OMG SQUEE now, but I HAS TATTOO. Large image after the cut!



I will be stealing other peoples photos to post here, because my camera has been lost to the depths of the hotel room for a while now. :x But there shall be massive photo posts, because I insist.

The story behind this tattoo is kind of weird. When WinCon started being planned, clex_monkie89 and I got the bright idea to get our first ink together. We're practically sisters and we haven't seen each other in forever. I decided that I wanted to get the Winchester brother's tattoo and she agreed. Then she started having money problems and the idea was called off.

When we actually got here, I still wanted a tattoo, so I talked her into letting me buy it. But there's now no time to have a really custom job done. So we rounded up people and decided to just go and see what looked good. When we got there I was staring at the flashes, and I desperately wanted to get something that would be Supernatural-related. Then it sort of hit me.

We've had this running line for the whole con that clex_monkie89 based Jess in her Big Bang off of me. To the point where I've offered to do voice-recordings of Jess for her. And Jess has 2.5 tattoos. One is a random heart-thing, one is a cupcake, and the last is a spattering of stars across the back of her neck.

BINGO.

So now I Am Jess even MORE, and I will be doing posed shots from behind so they can photoshop me blonde and call it Jess. It's classy enough that I'm not going to have to explain to anyone what the hell I was thinking, unless they're anti-ink in general, and still vaguely Supernatural related.

ETA: I wanted to add the thenyxie's husband is totally the one that started me down the path to Jess-dom. When I was thinking of tattoos, he suggested the back of the neck because 1) it's pretty painless comparatively and 2) he finds the one on his wife's neck v. sexy. That + clex_monkie89's Jess refs and my brain went 'splodey.

NEXT YEAR YES. Chelsea, Channy and I are already planning a group tattoo for the future. :D Next year you shall go and get pained with us! (I'm already scabbing over the purple, I can feel it!)

Actually, it barely hurt at all. Apparently the back of the neck can either be one of those super-sensitive or super-painless places, and mine was entirely bearable. I'm utterly terrified of needles (my teeth hurt from clenching them in the lobby while I waited! D:), but once he got started it was super easy.

Best reaction yet? "Oh my god!" XD
