i'm not suggesting that the majority legomymalfoy's votes were sockpuppet votes, or that she wouldn't have won if the sockpuppets were discounted, but i do think a significant number of votes came from secondary/tertiary/whatever the seventieth would be accounts and, as you said, without lj looking into it, it kinda destroys the whole transparent election thing they had going on.

but i guess i'm just in the slightly uncomfortable "winner does not represent me, yo" camp at the moment. i already have issues with the new policy announcements, though i'm sure i'm in the minority on that.
