Summary: Harry and Draco take in a classic art form. Complete drabble.

This story is a work of transformative fiction, such being defined as a work which incorporates characters and situations which have been created by other authors/artists. No infringement of copyright is intended and no profit is being made from the creation or dissemination of this work. Harry Potter was created and is owned by J.K. Rowling. Phantom of the Opera was created and is owned by Andrew Lloyd Webber. They are used with respect and admiration for the work.

A/N: This spawned from my listening to the (PotO) soundtrack and reflecting on what kind of twit Christine is. I still think Raoul and the Phantom should have dumped her down in the sludge and run off together. Written in 10 minutes at work.

Draco slouched in his balcony seat, slowly slipping sideways until his head was pillowed on his husband's shoulder. On the stage, the opera carried on, unaware of his imminent Death by Boredom.

"Love." Even his whispered whine sounded pitiful. Against his cheek, Harry's tuxedo was soft, made of fine materials and magic, so there was no seam visible. "I'm bored. Why did you drag me here?"

Harry turned his head from the on-going show as the heroine started lilting about the mess she'd gotten herself in. In the dark, his glasses reflected the lights from the stage eerily. "Hermione said it was romantic."

The entire thing was starting to make Draco sick. The song seemed to go on and on, with no reprieve in sight. The only hope he had was that the Phantom fellow would get fed up with with both white-hat twits and dispose of them before they killed the audience with their sappiness. "I can't believe Granger said that." In fact, Draco could easily see the bushy-haired Muggleborn going up in flames just at the current number. Really, any man with an offer "to guard you and to guide you" to her had best say so behind battlements of some kind.

"She did. She gets mushy about things like that since the baby." Harry's cheek rested on the top of his head, and that was unfair. How was he supposed to argue when the other man was like that? Especially with their hands entwined between them.

The blonde winced as the line "let me lead you from your solitude" violated his ears, and found the way to argue. It hit closer to home than he cared to think about, considering the source. "Regardless of Granger's maternal insanity, Potter, I insist that it no longer be inflicted upon me."

This time he felt Harry kiss his hair, and scowled at the wobbly feeling in his stomach. The bastard knew how to do it to him every time. "It's our anniversary, we're supposed to do something romantic."

"Me. You. Hot tub at home. That's romance, isn't it?" Draco knew he was pouting and couldn't help himself. When Harry stood, he almost fell into his vacated chair. "What--?"

Warm, strong hands tugged him until he was standing. "Why didn't you say so sooner?"

Lyrics to All I Ask of You from Phantom of the Opera:

RAOUL
No more talk of darkness,
forget these wide-eyed fears;
I'm here, nothing can harm you,
my words will warm and calm you.

Let me be your freedom,
let daylight dry your tears;
I'm here, with you, beside you,
to guard you and to guide you.

CHRISTINE
Say you love me every waking moment,
turn my head with talk of summertime.
Say you need me with you now and always;
promise me that all you say is true,
that's all I ask of you.

RAOUL
Let me be your shelter,
let me be your light;
you're safe, no one will find you,
your fears are far behind you.

CHRISTINE
All I want is freedom,
a world with no more night;
and you, always beside me,
to hold me and to hide me.

RAOUL
Then say you'll share with me one love, one lifetime;
let me lead you from your solitude.
Say you need me with you, here beside you,
anywhere you go, let me go too,
Christine, that's all I ask of you

CHRISTINE
Say you'll share with me one love, one lifetime;
say the word and I will follow you.

TOGETHER
Share each day with me,
each night, each morning.

CHRISTINE
Say you love me!

RAOUL
You know I do.

RAOUL &
CHRISTINE
Love me, that's all I ask of you.

Anywhere you go, let me go too
*LOVE ME*
that's all I ask of you

PHANTOM
I gave you my music
Made your song take wing...
and now how you've repaid me:
denied me and betrayed me...
He was bound to love you when he heard you sing...
Christine
Christine

(offstage)
CHRISTINE/RAOUL
Say you'll share with me one love, one lifetime say the word and I will follow you...
Share each day with me, each night, each morning...

PHANTOM
You will curse the day you did not do
all that the Phantom asked of you!
