Yep, it's Pepper! She completely blames Tony for everything that happens to her in this fic. :D

It really is, in a way. Ult Tony is a little more given to black humor than 616. I think it's partly because 616 Tony was always able to fight his health problems, whereas Ult Tony was essentially told "this is it, nothing we can do, sorry". :(
